Tracking iPadOS
Apple's new iPad operating system is now being tracked separately from iOS
Apple released a new operating system for the iPad called iPadOS. Previously, the operating system was iOS, same as the iPhone. We are now tracking iPadOS independently from iOS as of September, 2019.
iPads have been transitioning from iOS to iPadOS as updates propagate.
